Husband says: Dr. B., the surgeon, came out of the OR after just under eight hours, carrying a film of the successful surgery.  He said the surgery went very well, and the breathing tube can come out right away.  She will be awake and ready for a quick visit in about an hour.  I sent her prayer shawl back to post-op for her to have as she’s waking up.
